HYROX CLINIC - Muscle Endurance Vs Power Training
A workshop with full detailed practice of power blocks, muscle endurance blocks/challenges. “The ability of a muscle to produce force repeatedly over time without fatigue.”
HYROX CLINIC - How to Get Your 1K’s Faster
HYROX specific track workout intentionally programmed to drop your 1k time, understanding progressions, running specific drills and breathing mechanics. The goal to have you leaving educated and confident to own your runs in HYROX.
HYROX CLINIC - Injury Prevention
In training setbacks can happen, but we have control over how we can mitigate them throughout our training. In this clinic you will learn about mobility drills, warm up routines, and recovery techniques to stay healthy throughout your training and stay race ready.
HYROX CLINIC - Race Prep: First Half of the Race
Master the first half of HYROX with coaching on Ski Erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull and Burpee Broad Jumps. Learn key techniques, pacing strategies and how to move more efficiently. Finish the session with a mini race simulation applying what you’ve learned.
HYROX CLINIC - How To Prevent Burnout
The goal here is for people to make strategies and approach the challenges with a plan and intention (or get humbled by it) which is something that on any race day is important.
HYROX CLINIC - Race Prep: Second Half of the Race
Finish strong on race day. You’ve mastered the first half of HYROX, now let’s focus on the final stations: Rower, Farmers Carry, Walking Lunges and Wall Balls.

Backyard Brawl is back. Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 2 as we bring back our in-house, HYROX-inspired race, bigger, better, and built with even more behind it this time around.

Mental toughness is a non-negotiable when it comes to crossing the finish line at a Hyrox event. In this clinic you will leave with more confidence and a personalized strategy to crush your next Hyrox event. We will cover goal setting, handling pre race nerves, and how to prepare your body and mind on race day to crush it.
HYROX CLINIC - Doubles Strategy
Discussion & guidance about proper doubles strategy to maximize efficiency and run a fast race. Followed up with practical application to fine tune technique and expose blind spots.
St. Patrick’s Day Road Race
We’re heading to Southie. Backyard Run Club is officially putting a team together for the St. Patrick’s Day Road Race and we want you with us.
This iconic Boston 5K isn’t just about fast splits and festive vibes (though there will be plenty of both). The race benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, supporting youth development programs that empower kids across our city.
Give Back @ Backyard — Charity Fitness Class
Join us on Saturday, March 14 for Give Back @ Backyard, a high-energy charity fitness class supporting a cause close to our community. This special event is hosted for Sarah, bringing our Backyard crew together to move, sweat, and rally around something bigger than a workout.
Charity Workout Fundraiser Supporting Clean Water Access
This special event is part of a birthday-themed fundraiser where all proceeds go directly to charity:water, an organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to communities in need.
Katie’s Boston Marathon Fundraiser

Galentine’s Day Strength 💖
Grab your girls and get ready to lift heavy, laugh loud, and hype each other up. This Galentine’s Day Strength session on Thursday, February 13th at 6:30 PM with Melissa & Kerrie is all about powerful lifts, intentional movement, and that unmatched energy only strong women bring.
WHOOP Labs Community Pop-Up at Backyard
We’re bringing the energy to the gym on February 7 with a WHOOP Labs Community Pop-Up, a chance to train, connect, and learn more about the data behind recovery, sleep, and performance.
WHOOP Labs is the research arm of WHOOP, focused on building better performance insights through real people. Their work is rooted in inclusivity, collecting data from people of all ages, genders, fitness levels, and backgrounds because performance isn’t one-size-fits-all. And no, you don’t need to be an elite athlete to be part of it.

Coord Health at Backyard
Coord Health supports women through virtual nutrition counseling, often completely covered by most women’s insurance. Their team of Registered Dietitians specializes in a wide range of focus areas, including hormonal conditions, relationship with food, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, performance, and more — meeting women wherever they are in their journey.

We’re kicking off the new year the Backyard way: movement first, mimosas second.
Join us inside DARTÉ at King’s Draft Room for a New Year’s morning pop-up mat class designed to get you sweating, smiling, and ready to celebrate whatever the year brings next.
Expect a full-body mat workout led by Backyard, set to high-energy beats from Kerrie Vasquez, followed by brunch, a DJ, confetti, and unapologetic New Year vibes at DARTÉ.
