Hyrox Vs Run X Hyrox:

Which Class Is Right For You?

If you’ve been eyeing our HYROX offerings and wondering what’s the difference? You’re not alone. Both classes are built around the same HYROX-style training principles, but each delivers a slightly different focus depending on how you like to train, race, and challenge yourself.

Here’s a breakdown to help you decide which one fits your goals best (spoiler: a lot of people do both 👀).

HYROX

High-intensity. Race-style. Full-body grit.

Our HYROX class mirrors the energy and structure of race-day training. You’ll cycle through functional strength movements, conditioning pieces, and teamwork-based efforts designed to challenge both your body and your mindset.

This class is built with intentional pacing in mind. You’ll work hard, take strategic rest, reload, and go again, just like you would in a competition setting. Every athlete moves with purpose, and effort is always the priority.

What to expect:

  • Functional strength and conditioning

  • Race-style intervals and stations

  • Built-in rest to support quality output

  • A strong team atmosphere

  • Options and scaling for all levels

Perfect for:

  • Athletes training for a HYROX race

  • Anyone who loves high-intensity strength + conditioning

  • People who thrive in a competitive, team-driven environment

  • Anyone looking to push limits, no matter their experience level

All levels are welcome. You bring the effort, we’ll meet you where you are.

RUN x HYROX

Half run. Half grind. All performance.

RUN x HYROX blends endurance and strength into one intentional session. You’ll spend part of class building aerobic capacity on the run, then transition to strength and conditioning work on the floor that directly supports running performance.

This class is highly coached and designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and build confidence across both disciplines. Whether you’re newer to running or looking to sharpen your engine, you’ll be guided every step of the way.

What to expect:

  • Structured running intervals

  • Strength work that supports endurance

  • Thoughtful transitions between run and floor

  • Coaching, cues, and encouragement throughout

  • Progressions that meet you at your level

Perfect for:

  • Athletes who want to improve their running endurance

  • Anyone training for HYROX, road races, or hybrid events

  • People who want balanced strength + cardio in one class

  • Runners looking to get stronger and stronger athletes looking to run smarter

So…Which One Should You Take?

The short answer? Whichever aligns with how you want to train that day.

  • Choose HYROX if you want race-style intensity, strength-forward conditioning, and a full-body grind.

  • Choose RUN x HYROX if you want a balanced blend of running and strength with an endurance-first focus.

Many members rotate between both classes, and that’s by design. Together, they create a well-rounded training approach that builds strength, stamina, and confidence. No matter which class you step into, the goal is the same: show up, work hard, and leave feeling capable of more than you thought.

See you on the floor (or in the Shed). 💪
