Backyard Boston Featured on 7 News Boston’s See the Good
We’re feeling the love, Boston! ❤️ This week, Backyard Boston was featured on 7 News Boston’s segment See the Good — and we couldn’t be more honored.
The story highlighted our free weekly workouts for teens and adults in the city, where Boston Police Department officers join us to move, sweat, and connect. Our mission is simple but powerful: build strength, confidence, and community through movement.
As co-owner & trainer, Lauren Rich, shared in the interview:
“Movement is medicine for all of us. It’s done something for our mental health, so being able to give that back… I can’t imagine being a kid these days with social media and the pressures. To give them an hour where it’s all about them — getting better mentally and physically — it’s great.”
These Tuesday sessions have become a highlight of our week, and we’re thrilled to share that we’re planning to keep them going into the school year. The energy, resilience, and connections we see in these classes remind us why we do what we do.
A huge thank you to 7 News Boston for shining a light on this initiative, and to our incredible community for showing up with open hearts and strong spirits every week.
Want to join us? Classes are free, open to teens and adults, and held every Tuesday. Come move with us — we can’t wait to see you.
