Boston Marathon Fundraiser Class for Tufts Medical Center

Sammy, a member at Backyahd, is running the Boston Marathon for Tufts Medical Center! She is running for Tufts to run for something greater than herself, to raise money for Tufts life-saving work, groundbreaking research and support patients in need of the best possible care.

No one can plan when an emergency occurs and you are in need of medical attention. While some insurance plans are better than others, a hospital stay can weigh heavy on an individual to be able to be treated. Her goal is to raise as much as she can to support the Tufts Medical Center and help those individuals to alleviate the worry and stress as to how they will be able to afford patient care, and your donation will give her a boost as she trains for the race.

As part of her fundraiser at Backyahd, post class, she will also have raffle items available after the workout class to raffle off donations to those in the class and even to those virtually who have donated beforehand! 100% of the proceeds will go towards her fundraiser!
