Backyard March Madness Challenge
March 16 – April 12
It’s time to mix things up.
Our Backyard March Madness Challenge is a four-week team competition designed to push you out of your routine, try new things, and rack up points along the way. Grab a partner, come up with a team name, and get ready to compete.
How to Enter
Choose a partner
Create a team name
Register by Monday, March 9 at midnight
(Only one partner needs to register the team.)
Once the challenge begins, you’ll move through four weekly challenges designed to keep you guessing and keep you showing up.
The Weekly Challenges
Week 1: Flip Your Schedule
March 16 – March 22: Switch things up.
If you usually take morning classes, try a lunch or evening class.
If you’re normally an evening athlete, show up in the morning.
Week 2: Expand the Backyard Circle
March 23 – March 29: Step outside your usual routine.
Take a class with a new instructor
Bring a friend to class (Your friend must be new to Backyard)
Week 3: RUN
March 30 – April 5: Time to build the engine. Complete one of each:
1 Shed Class
1 Runner’s Strength Class or 1 Mobility Class
Go to run club OR an outdoor run (tag us in your Instagram story for it to count).
Week 4: Hybrid Athlete
April 6 – April 12: The final week. Complete one of each:
1 Shed Class
1 Main Floor Class
1 Sauna or Cold Plunge Recovery Session
How You Win
Each week’s challenge must be completed to advance to the next week. Throughout the four weeks, every class you take = 1 point.
The team that:
Completes all weekly challenges and
Has the most total class points at the end WINS the Backyard March Madness Challenge.
